Free and Easy Web Page Creator

This application is called Check This. It is not as fancy as Glogster but it may be more user-friendly. You can embed video, audio, photos and more. In order to embed sound, I used SoundCloud to record my voice. You can also use SoundCloud to find copywrite-free music that you can embed.

Basic Voicethread Instructions

Create Your Account

Go to Voicethread
Click on Sign In or Register.
Click on Register.
Enter in the info, including your email address.
Go to your email (it may take a little while before it arrives) and click on the confirmation link.

Creating a VoiceThread

Click on Create.
Click Upload.
Choose the appropriate option (most of the time that will be From My Computer).
Find the images you want. You can control-click to select multiple images at once, or shift-click to select contiguous images, then click Open.
You can click and drag the images to reorder them.
Click on Add a title and description at the top to, amazingly enough, add a title and description.
Click on Comment if you'd like to add your voice, text, or video to one or more pictures.
Click on Share to set options, including whether it's public or not, if it's public whether to allow comments, and if you allow comments whether they are moderated or not. (Public, with comments, with moderation will allow viewers to leave a comment but you get to approve it first.)
Click on Options to set playback options.
Click on To Go to get a link to the VoiceThread, or embeddable code for a web page. On a blog or web page, switch to html code mode first, and then paste the code.
