Today your goal is to work towards mastery of the following concepts:  regular preterite, stem-changing preterite, -car/-gar/-zar ending verbs in the preterite, I-Y changing verbs in the preterite and the completely irregular verb VER.  Also, you will be learning more about markets and fashion in the Hispanic world.  You will find your work on the calendar of VHL today.  AFTER you have finished your work, please come back to the blog and choose some preterite practice from the Preterite category here, on the blog.  

 

*Your preterite quiz in next Tuesday, January 23.

*On Monday we will practice without referring to our notes and take a practice quiz.

Your goal today is to apply your knowledge of describing daily routines, getting to know foods from Spain and practicing new vocabulary.  The following is your list of things to do.

•  Open the jpeg file on the blog, under VISTAS 7.  When you are ready, press record and describe the events in the illustration.  You can pretend it is you or give the people names and talk about them.  Remember, your goal is Novice Mid.
• Complete the Comida de España webquest that we began yesterday.  Do not hand this in.  We will go over it, in class, tomorrow.

• Go to your VISTAS website and click on the calendar work for today's date, October 20.  You will listen and repeat your new vocabulary.   You will also play a flashcard game.

 

 

 

Wednesday updates

Hola chicos. I hope you have decided on your project product and have found out some cool information about Perú and the siesta part of a day.  

To be clear, your scrapbook can't be online, it must be a real, physical scrapbook.  

Also, it's super important to remember that you guys are at a Novice Mid level of Spanish profociency.  Your sentences and speaking are very simple.  I want you to show me what you have learned NOT WHAT A SPANISH THREE OR FOUR STUDENT WOULD PRODUCE.  Stick to the requirements on the rubric   

I cant wait to come back tomorrow!  We will not be working on projects tomorrow. We will be learning the last bit of vocabulary for the chapter.  

I WILL BE AVAILABLE DURING X BLOCK TOMORROW.
